Someone wrote recently on the subject of Vit B6 and Parkinson,
that 'Earl Mindell's Vitamin Bible' is one of the best books on the
subject of vitamins. Remembering that I have that book, I dug it
up and found 'Parkinson and B6' and read the following:

"Supplements for this vitamin should *not* be taken by anyone
under levodopa treatment for Parkinson's disease! (Ask your doctor
about Sinemet, a drug which can bypass this particular adverse vitamin
interaction.)"

Don't know if it's just *me*, but I'm not sure I understand what he
means by Sinemet "bypassing this particular adverse vitamin
interaction."
If anyone reading this post does understand I'd love your
interpretation.
(It sounds to me like if you're on sinemet it's OK to take B6??) Also,
wondering, does Vit B6 'enhance' the benefits of sinemet or perhaps,
visa versa? Hoping this post makes sense to someone and look forward
to hearing from you if it does. :-)
