To Michael--re: initial appt. with neuro-- one thing we wish Peter's docs had made clear in the beginning was the options of adjusting meds by experimenting--it's hard for the doc to know how YOU will respond, since PD hits everyone differently. Be sure this area is discussed and you are clear about what you may do with meds between visits if problems arise. Finally, after 6 years, Peter's neuro told us last week that "you have 2 optional pills in a day"--he never said so before, and we learned about experimenting from this list! (He later approved what we had done, BTW) You may want to keep fairly close contact initially till you see how things shape up,and I hope the neuro will_listen_ well, and answer questions will- ingly.
