I am wondering if others have had problems with low blood pressure, which may be increased with use of Sinemet? Peter (age 76, diag. 6 yrs.) has twice blacked out and fallen--no other reason than low blood pressure was found. He is also exhausted much of the time, not unusual with PD. He has been told to increase salt intake, and not to worry about edema in feet (so long as it doesn't go above ankles) because it is "dependent" type, due to inactivity. Have others found a way to deal with the blackouts? There seems to be no warning and no treatment!. Suggestions?
