Gary
Sry to hear of your distressd but you ar not alone.

My cramping/spasms are in my feet (instep) and toes. Sometimes I am lucky
enuf to get cramping calfs at the same time. OH BOY!!!

With the aid of ATIVAN and a little PERGOSET I manage to live thru 45--60
minutes of pure HELL only to await the next session.

I have spoken at great lengths with my neuro who is a PD specialist about
this and he wishes there was a quick solution. THERE IS NONE!!. If in fact
you have PD your concern that this mite lead to other things is valid. Ive
had PD for 11 years and only in the last two years developed this. Otherwise
I moves like semi hardened concrete a few hours a day, my legs hurt,
occassionally I freeze in place (luckily at home) and finally my legs feel
like they do when "normal" people experience the "legs falling asleep
"syndrom; only mine last for hours.

Gary, I plan to "march" in some way or form this coming sunday in NY at the
PD unity march.....not to gather and listen that a cure has been found....but
to share in the knowledge that more progress to relieve our sufferings has
been made in the past three years than in all previous years combined. I
have every reason to believe that my symptoms and all others PD'ers will be
getting relief reallly soon. There are so many new meds coming out and new
and improved surgeries being done each day.

Join us here on the net, you will read many new things to renew your
confidence.
