Husband Don had bilateral thalamic stimulation surgery June 1994 in Grenoble, France. He was 57 then, diagnosed PD 20 yrs. Tremor was the main symptom and had become full-body tremor. We are delighted with the results and would be happy to discuss with anyone contemplating such surgery. Apparently the new stimulation surgery in the pallidum(sp?) alleviates other symptoms as well.
