We have just joined the Parkinson's mailing list and are soliciting
opinions and recommendations. Both of my wife's parents have PD. They are
80 and 70 years old, and have had PD for 8-10 years. They have been under
the care of a neurologist for several years now, but are increasingly less
satisfied with the care and treatment they are receiving.
We are looking for someone that can provide us with another opinion. If
there is anyone out there who can recommend a clinic, hospital, university or
individual physician, we would really be interested in hearing from you.
Because of their age and lack of mobility, we are trying to limit the area
to North and South Carolina.
Sleeplessness at night is a very disturbing problem for both of them
right now. Any assistance you could provide would be greatly appreciated.
