To Joan in Alberta--welcome to the list. You'll find many who can echo your feelings and frustrations as your husband's symptoms progress. And dementia/confusion/cognitive problems are frightening. They seem to occur in 30-40% of PDs,and are different from the hallucinations caused by meds. You might find helpful posts in the list archives. Do you have access to a support group by any chance? That can also be helpful, for caregivers as well as patients. Don't be afraid to honor your own feelings--you have a right to them, and having a safe place to express them, a person to blow off steam to can help you keep going day-to-day. Stay connected!
