Re: reference to book on Parkinson's and physical therapy -- inquiry by Donald Conley and the reply by Sid Roberts. Professor George Turnbull is a professor at the Dalhousie University School of Physiotherapy here in Halifax, Nova Scotia. His book is part of a series, Clinics in Physical Therapy and was published by Churchill Livingstone Inc., 650 Avenue of the Americas, New York, N.Y. 10011 USA & in the U.K. by Churchill Livingstone, Robert Stevenson House, 1-3 Baxter's Place, Leith Walk, Edinburgh, EH1 3AF. It is an excellent series of authoritative articles on management techniques. Dr. Turnbull is a strong advocate of early and regular physical exercise as a preventative therapy or strategy in the managment of Parkinson's from the beginning. Dr. Turnbull has recently become Presdient of the Nova Scotia Division of the Parkinson Foundation of Canada and a member of the Board of Directors of the Parkinson Foundation of Canada. He also monitors this list from time to time. I would be happy to relay any queries listmembers might have to Dr. Turnbull. TTFN Peter. ========================================= Peter J.
