As someone who's only subscribed in the last week, I'm surprised to find I
already have a need for the collective wisdom I've seen here.

My father was diagnosed with PD about three years ago, and has quickly
progressed. He's 72, uses a walker exclusively, and is, or has been, on many
of the drugs I've seen discussed here.

Today his neurologist (here in Michigan) "resigned" his case, apparently
unable to offer any new ideas, other than to suggest two other PD specialist
my father could "try". Has anyone any experience with Peter Lewit (Detroit)
or Christopher Goetz (Chicago) or another PD specialist they could recommend,
preferably in the US Midwest?

Like everyone else, we're looking for information, and trying to sort it all
out.

Thank you.
