Judy, I don't understand why you are so upset. Perhaps the teacher is planning a debate where on-the-one-hand-on-the-other-hand is not the tradition? Anyway, I feel we too readily criticize the beleaguered high school teacher. Why not call him/her and express your concerns. Mieke
