Sorry - I forgot to add the following  to my earlier post:
 
For any of you out there who are on beta-blockers for
the treatment of hypertension:
 
Propanolol and metoprolol have been shown to  inhibit
coenzyme Q-10 dependent enzymes. In these cases,
supplementation with Q-10 may actually enhance the
drug's ability to function, by eliminating Q-10
deficiencies.
 
SIDE EFFECTS
 
Out of 5,143 patients given 30 mg/day of Q-10, the
following adverse reactions were noted:
 
epigastric discomfort - 0.39 percent
loss of appetite - 0.23  percent
nausea - 0.16 percent
diarrhea - 0.11 percent
 
Q-10 appears to be safe and well tolerated, but as
usual, check with your doctor prior to altering your
input of anything that might influence other meds
you're on.
