Since you're in San Francisco, i suggest you contact "The Parkinson's
Institute" in Sunnyvale, CA. (408) 734-2800.  At the very least, they can
probably provide you with links to other placesm neurologists, etc.  I
don't know their policy for taking on new patients, but maybe you get your
mother in.  I go there (all the way up from Santa Barbara).
