Hello to David, Joyce, and all,

Twas a pleasure hearing from you.

David... Gene also wrestles with p.m. sleep deprivation from time to time.
When he first retired, he fell into the habit of taking a nap each day.
His physician suggested he not nap (made sense). He used to get up...fix
a cup of hot chocolate and read. Lately, since he quit taking a nap, he
says he gets up...goes to the bathroom..."thinks" about the hot chocolate
and just goes back to bed...eventually to sleep. Although, I remind him
from time to time, (isn't that what a wife is for though...;-) there are
nights the problem is mine as well. Usually due to whatever is
happening in my life at the time.

Gene takes his last sinemet around 6 p.m. In the morning, he is very
sluggish. Currently, he's contemplating taking a pill whenever he does
wake up in the early a.m. hours to try to alleviate the definite slowness
of movement he experiences when he does get up for the day.

Joyce...Gene experiences foot curling in the a.m. when he wakes up.
Currently, he uses time released sinement. His doctor did suggest
he could also use the regular Sinemet for a quicker pick-me-up. So
far, he hasn't followed up on the suggestion. However, glad to hear the
OJ cocktail is working for you. Definitely, will keep the idea in our
file of resources to comtemplate using.

Cheerio to you both of you and to the rest of the gang.

Clara and Gene Nistler
