When I told my daughter that I was taking NADH she looked it up in her BIO
Chem book and told me that the B Vitamin niacin was used in the body to
make NAD.

Now since NAD is needed by the body to make NADH and NADH is needed to make
tyrosine and trysoine is needed to make L-Dopa and L-Dopa is need to make
dopamine is it not possible that those of us who are attempting to increase
our own bodies production of dopamine by using the expensive NADH pills
could get the same results by increasing our niacin intake?

By the way the Bio Chem book indicated that the chemical changes would be
helped by drinking alcohol.

I remember someone on the list saying when they drank alcohol he had more
sinemet side affects. Maybe there is a connection??

Does any one have any thoughts on niacin and PD?

If any one plans on trying this I've read that you shouldn't increase
intakes of individual B Vitamins without increaseing all the B Vitamins so
they remain in balance. Thus an high dose B Complesx might be best.

Thanx for reading this,
Diane
