To Diane Turner
Jeff (husband, pd diagnosed 6yrs, 45) takes 4 2.5 pills a day, all at once
on an empty stomach before breakfast. At the same time he started NADH, he
also added Amantadine and several vitamin/herb supplements. Hardly a
scientific method of added meds but he's pleased with the results. First and
foremost his energy is back. The fatigue was becoming a MAJOR problem but
that's gone now. There are times when the tremor is 80-90% gone, most of the
time the tremor is reduced by at least 50%. Again, not scientific but the
changes are noticable. People who had not seen Jeff for awhile comment how
much better he's moving. We want to be very careful to specify that (for
obvious reasons) we do not claim the NADH has been an instant cure. How much
credit it gets for Jeff's improvement OR the NADH in combination with
any/all vitamins or herbs is anyone's guess at this time. Bottom line is
Jeff feels and performs better. We feel strongly that everything he's taking
now is equally important to the cause - the antioxidents, herbs, etc all are
helping. Is this a placebo effect? Yes, no, maybe but Jeff's feeling is 'who
cares....I feel better'. I do not take NADH. BTW, Jeff also takes Eldepryl
2x, Permax, Cogentin - he's been on these meds for awhile. Question: why
will you choose 2.5 mgs or 10 mgs? Could you try, say, 5 mgs? Or any amount
in between the 2.5 and 10. Jeff mentioned you might want to try Ginger
tablets to combat dry mouth. He was having to chew gum because of dry mouth
but since he's started taking ginger (and even drinking gingerale first
thing in the morning) the dry mouth has disappeared.

>I've been taking NADH for about five weeks now. I started with 2.5 mg a day
>and increased the dose by 2.5 mg slowly until I reached my present dose of

>
>A after taking 2.5 mg for a few days I think that my memory improved. Now
>when I forget something, with a little effort, I can often recall it.
>Before taking NADH, I was beginning to forget facts and ideas completely.
>I also run to the bathroom less often and with less urgency, thus the NADH,
>as odd as it sounds, seems to helping me get more sleep at night.
>
>There were no additional changes until a few days after I increased my dose
>to 10 mg. With 10 mg I seem to have more energy than I have had in a long

>My mouth was dry for a few days each time I increased the dose.

>I also take 10 mg of Eldepryl a day.

>Now I'm going to ask you, "How long have been taking NADH and what affects
>have you noticed, if any? Also, how much are you taking daily?"

>Thank you,
