In my first message on dyskinesia I should have emphasized that debilitating
dyskinesia didn't occur until many years later. at present time dyskinesia
can becomes so severe that it is difficult for my wife to even eat; go out
in public, etc. we moderated the dyskinesia significantly last year by going
to hourly doses of liquid sinemet, which has been discussed on this list
previously, and that smoothed out the severe fluctuations caused by the
kickin of sinemet. Five weeks ago she had (we hope) fetal tissue implant
surgery at Denver as part of the double-blind study involving 40 Pakinsons
patients, being financed by nih. we are hoping that if she got the real thing
she willbe able to cut back on the sinemet and thus greatly reduce the
dyskinesia.
