Nancy, I dont remember if i answered you on this one. the open toes support stockings are to lessen the tension on my toes. (The liquifying sinemet has almost eliminated the cramping) the water pills are lessining the edema pain so im left with painful stiffness and freezing. by process of elimination it sounds like im doing away with all symptoms WRONG!!! Just trying to take any advantage of any help I can find. Joyce
