I wish I could say that lowering protein intake (or at least changing when protein is eaten) had had some effect on Don's condition. At least in his case, however, it makes no difference. He's ecstatic, being a meat and potatoes man like his father. I worry, but the doctor says as long as it doesn't affect his reaction to his meds and as long as his cholesterol stays low, forget it.
