Since it's the holidays I had to do something along with the theme: *********** CREATURE CHRISTMAS Finally, it has come That time of year A time for friends and family To indulge in holiday cheer. The first Christmas story By many held dear Told again and again To all whom will hear. A babe in a manger His birth foretold by seers A King who would one day Rule by Love, Not by Fear. Later to hang on the cross While his persecutors jeered Giving his Life to save All His message simple and clear. Let us not forget those creatures Who at his birth also gathered near. Why would a King such as this Commune with animals as peers? As some would consider this scene Sacreligious if not queer Perhaps there is also a message To be found right here.
