Welcome to the list, Patricia, One of the misconceptions regarding parkinson's is that it only effects "seasoned citizens". I was diagnosed at 28 and am 35 now. I hope to continue working for a long time yet. I am hoping that all of the very encouraging research going on will be of some benefit before I have to collect on my disability benefits. I take 1 25/100 4/day 1 50/200 CR 5/day 7.5 mg Parlodel 3/day 1 5mg eldepryl 2/day I'll probably be trying out a palidotomy or one of the stimulation procedures within a year or so. Altogether, though, I would say that parkinsons has changed my life but not ended it. Roy Lee
