Yes, indeed, it sounds a little strange.  Hytrin (I think
that's what you are referring to), is a drug used for
prostate disease and not for strokes, to my knowledge.  Does
he have any pain (back or leg)?  You may be correct in your
suspicions that he may not have PD.
