Prozac has reportedly caused organic brain syndromes, although I believe the incidence is small. After discontinuing the Prozac, it may take a month for its effect to wear away. It is good that your neurologist is not waiting a month to organize other tests (such as an MRI or CT scan to rule out the types of things that these tests would show) since there are other possibilities. If Prozac turns out to be the culprit, other antidepressants may be safe.
