Hi, Renee.  As reported in the (Toronto) Globe and Mail, Nov. 24/95, 'The
procedure, known as a pallidotomy, has been performed on 80 patients at
the Toronto Hospital in the past 3 1/2 years.'  The two doctors involved
in a study on the first 14 patients are Dr. Andres Lozano, a neurosurgeon
at the Toronto Hospital and principal investigator of the study and Dr.
Anthony Lang, professor of neurology at the University of Toronto and
director of the Movement Disorders Centre at the Toronto Hospital.  The
