Hi, Before looking into Internet Service Providers, it might be worth finding out if your area is served by a free-net or a community network. There are dozens of them. Lists of these nets are available using a web browser at addresses http://www.uwec.edu/Info/Freenets and http://www.freenet.victoria.bc.ca/freenets.html
