Your protocol is very interesting and looks
like much of what I used to aid my mother
after she was no longer able to keep her-
self regular.

Then I read Linus Paulings book "How to
Feel Good and Live Longer. There he
--------- pointed out that vitamin C
was a natural aid to regularity and
that the amount of C we needed each
day could be determined by the amount
needed to produce a normal stool.

As he suggested, I began mom on 1 gram
the first day. Not enough.
Two the next. Not enough
Finally worked up to 6 and "bingo",
normal movement without strain.

Now she takes 3 grams in the morning in
juice, 2 at noon and 1 later in the
evening if she hasn't had a movement.

No more enemas, laxitives, bran or
other bulking agents.

I urge lots of water, fruit, whole
grains depending on her appetite.

But the C is what does it!
