I trust your arrangements for your father will work out following the death of his wife. You situation reminded me of my own. Following the death of my mother at Thanksgiving, we had to place my father in a nursing facility because of his Alzheimer's. Mother had been caregiver for him during the last several years. It's a difficult transition to make, but I hope you will find some place suitable and to your liking.
