In discussing possible common denominators for PD in our support group, several of us found we began to show pd symptoms shortly after surgery. I never suspected the demerol, though I know I received it and others may have as well. When I was on eldepryl, I had to fight with my surgeon not to give me demerol for elbow surgery. He'd never heard of the dangerous interaction. Scary! Pat Schark
