Hello alan,

at 18 Jan 96 you wrote the following in the newsgroup
Archiv.Parkinson about _Need some help_:

Another possibility you could try (but always keep in close contact with
your wife's neurologist) would be splitting up the sinemet. I don't know
which kind of pill [capsule, tablet] sinemet is in the states, but if it
is possible I would try giving her 8 times 1/2 sinemet (25/100) instead of
4 times 1 sinemet 25/100. Trying this dosage scheme, youre wife may result
in more time of the day 'on'. Another possibility you could ask your
neurologist about is apomorphine which needs to be injected subcutaneously
(similar to insulin in diabetes treatment) and could sometimes also
improve a patients on status.

Hope that helps,

        Stephan
