Karen and I are off to Orlando for a Pastor s conf. Then on to a cruise to
Nassau etc. To celebrate our 25th anniversary. Over half of these years 12 1/2
I was afflicted with Parkinson's Disease. But Praise God since I had my
Pallidotomy on Dec.1, 1993 I have been virtually free of the effects of
Parkinson's Disease. We went to Nassau on our honeymoon of course not knowing
what lay ahead in our future, knowing only the One who holds the future.
I will be off line until Feb. 18.
As Alan B. Reported to you Tony Schoonenberg from the Loma Linda
University Movement Disorders Team had a Pallidotomy on Friday. I saw him today
and he is doing great. He worked half a day at the clinic today until we told
him he had to go home and rest. After having the surgery Friday morning he went
home Friday evening. It was really quite a sight to see Tony helping patients
today with a Band-Aid on his head from his own Pallidotomy.
I ll be back in touch on the 18th.
        Don
