I grew up in northern Canada "mosquito country."  There were no bug sprays at
all - except soap and water which we whisked on roses with a broom to kill
aphids.  Otherwise we spent the summers swatting mosquitos and putting baking
soda on the itchy spots.
SUGGESTION:  Someone should check the insect control people who  work in
clouds of spray daily.  In some southern states it is not unusual for
households to be on contract with a pest control company for a monthly house,
lawn, or tree spray to control insects.  Do these bug control companies have
a prevalence of Parkinson's Disease in their staff?  Has anyone here ever
worked for an insect control company or been a crop duster pilot?
