This story is a lot more than a year old; I heard it a few years ago on the Internet, naturally. It's just one of those "urban legends" that keeps circulating and circulating on the Internet, and probably will forever. If you get mail requesting you send your business card for a kid in Florida with leukemia who's trying to get in the Guiness Book, ignore it. The "kid" is over 20 now, cured, and got into the book years and years ago, but the story keeps circulating and well-meaning people keep sending him business cards to this day.
