I am very happy for your dad as I had a pallidotomy at Oregon Health
Sciences University (OHSU) last August.
I think that he will feel that life has begun again. It doesn't tak long to
get used to living without dyskinesia. One thing that I have discovered is
that my speach has deteriorated since the Pallidotomy. But I'll take that
over dyskinesia..
