Dear Joyce,
My symptoms were stiffness, shuffling gait,   almost freezing, (in the off
mode)  no tremor, very short on periods. When I was on   I had anywhere from
moderate to severe  dyskinesia. The Pallidotomy was the only operation for me.
I  really can't say  what would be best for you, this was just my experience.
