Hello Everyone,
My name is Barry, my Mother is 76 yrs old and was diagnosed with PD in 1989

This is the first time I have spoken to the group. Thanks for your input
into this mail list, I am quietly taking in all the comments and valuable
information in the hope that it will help me make my mother's remaining time
on this planet as comfortable as possible.

Currently she is in a nursing home (Christies Beach, South Australia) and
sees a GP every few months She is taking 3 Sinamet per day also Zoloft for
her severe depression Cisapride for suspected heartburn due to reflux +
Temazepam (sleeping Tablets) Asprin, Panadol, Mylanta Double strength
tablets for wind.

For the last several years she has complained of pains in her stomach on her
right side (dominant PD side) at times she says the pain goes up her side to
her eye when it is particularly bad, it seems to be getting worse and seems
to be there all the time, she is very thin. None of the doctors that she has
seen have been able to help with this pain.

CAN ANYONE SUGGEST ANYTHING FOR THIS STOMACH PAIN.

Regards
Barry Dungey ([log in to unmask])
