James Myrick sets hopes on fetal tissue implant surgery. I don't think this wil l be the answer, in either the short or long run. Early results have not lived up to their promise, there's too much trouble getting the tissue, too many fetuses are needed, etc. Tissue cultures may work; recombinant genes may work; new medicines may work; different surgeries may work--but we're not holding our breath on fetal tissue implants.
