Pat Collins <[log in to unmask]>For the six months immediately prior to noticing early symptoms of PD (in hindsight - I didn't know it was PD for 2 years) I suffered from a particularly nasty viral flu-type illness causing pneumonia, pleuresy, blocked ear, nose and sinus passages, from which I had begun to feel I would never recover. This was physically very stressful and caused a deal of emotional overload at the time. This has been suggested by a number of medical people, but not my neurologist, as being a likely trigger in the onset of PD in my case. Do any other list dwellers have a similar history?
