And if you were not working when PD struck and/or when you became disabled, you can't get diability--period. It infuriates me to see people (like a cousin by marriage) who cheat the system with phony injuries that they somehow get OKed by doctors and disability boards when Don hasn't been able to get any disability for the 21 yrs. he's had PD--not even as his conditioned worsened in the years just before the stim. surgery. Now, of course, he's able and "employable"--but who's going to hire a 58-year-old man who's been out of the workforce since 1970 and who has PD?
