I concur with Jeff's opinion expressed here; as busy as I am and the fact
that often I am charged with doing the first 'run-through' on the messages
it has at times been extremely helpful and expedient that a reply can
readily be cross referenced to the original message. I would encourage those
responding to a particular message to delete any portion of the original
message that does not relate to their response. By deleting the unrelated
portion time is saved without penalizing those who find the referenced
portion helpful.
