Working through my e-mail after a 3-day absence, I come across another item that needs a longer answer that I can give at this point: but let me say quickly that there is no ideal solution to problems of lists of, e.g., harpers, and whether there is a context or not for the harpers; principles of inclusion and exclusion have to be devised, and the best an editor can do is to explain his/her principles in detail in his/her volumes so that volume users know what they are getting and not getting.
