The advantage of a moderated newsgroup is that folks unfamiliar with this list (or how to access it) will have an opportunity to gain the information that all of us have found so important in coping with PD. I had been posting to several medical newsgroups looking for the latest updates on Parkinson research when someone was kind enough to inform me of this group. Understand, I had to post first before I got the information. People who are just learning how to serf the net don't necessarily have the sophistication to find this list.
