My wife and I are leaving shortly for an 18 day tour of Eastern European countries. We will spend 3 days in Budapest. Several years ago the Parkinson Foundation newsletters were touting taking trips to Hungary to purchase a year or more's supply of Eldepryl (known as Jumex there). Prices at that time were about 9 cents per tablet compared to nearly $2.00 here. Has anyone out there had any experience buying Eldepryl in Budapest? If so, I have lots of questions. e.g. what is the current price?, do I need a prescription from my doctor, will druggists in Budapest accept an American prescription or do I need to seek out a Hungarian physician?
