It seems to me that Eldepryl was first developed in Hungary, approved in
Canada several years ago, and finally in the US around 1990-1.  The United
States Pharmacopeia defines its potency and identity (official name is
Seleginine) and that compendium  is also applicable to Canada (Deprenyl).
 The European Pharmacopeia covers most of Western Europe but probably not
Hungary.  I expect the cost there to be far lower probably for everything,
but I might first look into its purity, etc.   Good luck
