Found this thread while cruising the net today. Looks like this promising
line of research is getting closer ["...They are about to go to
preclinical trials."]  Just wanted to post this for encouragement.
 
For anyone new to this list, there is info in the archives re GDNF.

What importance does the serotonin stain recovery have?
Shouldn't they be looking at DA recovery instead, as this is
the relevent neurotransmitter depleted in PD?
