It started when the neurologist lowered his Eldepryl. He had trouble eating for a couple of weeks. He now complains that it is very painful to yawn (which he does a lot), but after he stretches his mouth wide a couple of times the pain is relieved. Last week he mentioned about the tongue hurting when he moves it a certain way. I believe that it is improved now that Fuad is back up to two Eldepryl a day. Has your wife tried facial exercises. Does she take Eldepryl? We have found that Fuad reacts adversely to muscle relaxers. Especially since the stroke. They seem to nulify the anti-Parkinson's medications and they stay in his system for days. Barb CG for Fuad PD 61/3+ Greensboro, Maryland [log in to unmask]
