Hi all,

Thought you may be intersted in article below from the Toronto Star
Tuesday March 12.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------
New Chemical Found in Smokes:

Researchers say the've found a mystery chemical in cigarette
smoke that seems to act in concert with nicotine to give smokers
a "high." Nicotine and the new chemical, an enzyme called monoamine
oxidase, work on dopamine, a neurotransmitter that affects mood and
carries signals between nerves. Other researchers say the study could
explain why cigarettes are so addictive.

We've talked about the nicotine `possibilities' here before and I was
just wondering if it could be possible to put whatever chemical is
responsible for the good stuff into pill form??? Any opinions?

Hope you're all having a good week-end!
