Nebraska highlights: I just learned that Mutually Preferred has given "Preapproval- medically necessary" for the pallidotomy they originally denied about 6 weeks ago. So for those out there fighting the insurance tangle on this - be persistent. It took 100 pages of references from the neurosurgeon, questioning letters from state legislators.......but Joe will have his pallidotomy! Also pleased to report that the legislation for the Parkinson's registry in Nebraska has passed from General Committee and hopes are once again high that we may have a registry/database of Parkinson's patients in the state of Nebraksa.
