Fran, I would insist on a CT scan or MRI if he hasn't had one recently. A
cyst in the sinus cavities can cause such pain. If he has had any kidney
disorders, soreness or frequent urinary infection history, a PVP may be
needed of the urinary tract. Five percent of those with intracranial
aneurysms also may have asymptomatic polycystic kidney disease.
 
Don't leave a stone unturned until you get to the bottom of this.
