Pam, my wife has the same type of PD. There only suggestion is to try and get a neurologist who is a PD specialist. With his help and advise he might help her. there are some things that are not medicine that may give her some relief. If you read this list on a regulare basis you will know that VIT E is a good place to start. Joyce takes 3200units a day on her DR> orders. Some people start at 2000 and for about two weeks to see if that works. If it does, they reduce it somewhat. For the past few months, Joyce has been taking about 4-6 MOTRIN IB from early AM till late evening. Our RX advised this will help because it will relax her and the MOTRIN will act as an anti-inflamatory (relieve the pain). She also rubs MINERAL ICE on which also helps a little.
