THANKS TO ALL WHO RESPONDED. I kno now wat went on here in the house during the ten days prior to my posting. Joyce had a VERY bad week or so with cramping. As I leave the house at 0630 each day, leaving her alone and checking in almost every hour she usually tells me how her day is going. Since I had a small heart attack about 5 weeks ago (no damage no surgery) she didnt want to tell me her real condition. When she called me to come home early on Friday afternoon, she and my son who works local to the house told me what was going on with the sneakers etc. When I finally calmed her down and made the calls to the covering doctors, I got her to tell me that she was O.D.ing on Ativan and Percocet trying to alieviate the pain. As close as I can figure she popped at least 90 Ativans in a ten day period when her "normal" dose is not more than 6 a day ONLY WHEN NEEDED. She did the same with the Percocet. THE GOOD NEWS is that during Friday night and all day Saturday we worked it out that I would dispense the meds when we both agreed. Saturday she needed and got only 3 and 1 1/2 Percocets. SHE IS BACK TO HER 'SUPER-SELF' again, feeling very stupid for having taken so many pills and thankful that she didnt hurt herself. Now we're trying to find a pair of MY MY shoes that are missing....!!! The mystery deepens !! With only 51 days to P-day we're hanging in together. Again, thanks to you all....and be careful with these drugs. Chuck
