Setting up networks, clearing houses, and other collaborative enterprises seems to be increasingly necessary, both for credibility and respect and, let's face it, for funding. SSHRC seems to be encouraging people in that direction (if "encouraging" is a word in the SSHRC vocabulary!). It is inviting researchers to apply for funding under a "Strategic Research Networks in Education and Training" plan. I don't know much about it myself, but I do know it exists. Just a thought. Best, Amanda Amanda Goldrick-Jones . . . University of Winnipeg Manitoba, CANADA . . . . .
